This is a Successful Foreign Policy Administration?

by Pejman Yousefzadeh on June 25, 2012

Team Obama says that it is happy to run on the president’s foreign policy record in this election season. I guess then that it will be happy to discuss the particulars of this article, which makes clear that the administration was more interested in waging war against its very own special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan than it was in working to create the conditions for a lasting and honorable peace to take effect in Afghanistan at the earliest possible opportunity. A lasting peace, I might add, that might have made it possible for American troops to leave Afghanistan earlier.

And if Team Obama is not happy to discuss the particulars of the article, then the Romney campaign should be happy to do it for them.
