Fumbling Pakistan

by Pejman Yousefzadeh on May 23, 2012

A very good piece by Arif Rafiq on how the Obama administration is mishandling the relationship with Pakistan. To be sure, some of this is unavoidable, some of it is attributable to Pakistan’s own shortcomings as an ally. But there can be little question that the administration has done its share of dropping the ball when it comes to this issue.

For Obamaphiles who believe that the president can cruise on his foreign policy record, this bit of diplomatic bumbling should serve as yet another splash of cold water to the face.
