I wrote in the past that Mitt Romney and the Republican party should talk about the economy in this election year. When they were finished talking about the economy, they should talk more about the economy. After that, they should continue talking about the economy. And then, to close any discussion, they should talk about the economy.
Tonight, Mitt Romney pretty much did just that.
If this laser-beam focus on pocketbook issues can last throughout the campaign, Team Romney might have a chance of winning this election. At the very least, they will make Barack Obama work exceedingly hard to try to keep from losing it.
