Why Authoritarian Capitalism Doesn’t Have Much of a Future

As Dan Drezner explains, it is because the institutions of one authoritarian capitalist state might not receive the warm welcome that they would hope to have in another authoritarian capitalist state.

Remember this the next time someone tells you that the Chinese approach to economic policy is the wave of the future, and that the American/Western approach is doomed to extinction.
