How Does Our Intervention In Libya Look?

From a legal standpoint, not good at all. And it doesn’t look all that good from the perspective of policy outcomes either. It really does not say much for the prospects of democracy in Libya when the country is declared an Islamic state without the consent of the governed, now does it?

No, I don’t miss Qaddafi. And no, I never will. But this intervention was handled badly from the start, and at the end of it, we are not even sure that we will get the result the Obama Administration claimed to desire in initiating military action against the Qaddafi regime.
