What was the stimulus good for? Mostly, it just served as a catalyst for a game of musical chairs.

I know that people like Paul Krugman wish that we had a bigger stimulus, with which, we might have had a longer, and more involved game of musical chairs. Such diversions would do little to get us out of our current economic doldrums, but I guess that some people prefer entertainment to the formulation and enactment of substantive and defensible economic policies.
