Bernie Sanders: Challenging President Obama for the Democratic Presidential Nomination is a Good Idea

Yup. He said it. And while, at the end of the day, I don’t think that President Obama will face any kind of primary or caucus challenge, Sanders’s comment shows the degree to which the left has become dissatisfied with the President.

Between statements like this, and the state of the economy, Barack Obama is not looking too strong as he seeks re-election. Fortunately for him, at the moment, his potential Republican opponents look even weaker.
