1. They’ve invented replicators:

2. Apparently, Tom Friedman is not the only person with a fetish celebrating the totalitarian nature of the Chinese government.

3. The Baseball Crank, Roger Ebert, and I are pleased to form a bipartisan coalition against bad reading.

4. Neurological diseases can be utterly fascinating, though one would not wish them on one’s worst enemy.
