No, not that talk. Rather, the one in which we ask the Pakistani government how it is that Osama bin Laden had been living in a conspicuous mansion in Abbottabad for five years without anyone noticing?
Maybe the Pakistanis are so incompetent that they truly did not know he was in Abbottabad, and bin Laden could have remained there another five years without fearing at all for his security. Or maybe, they knew perfectly well that he was there, and just decided not to say or do anything.
Either way, it’s not the kind of behavior from a putative U.S. ally that makes one feel comfortable.
