Can We Now Stop Taking Paul Krugman Seriously?

I ask, because he no longer makes sense on trade policy. Which is bad enough, of course, but it is especially depressing to see just how bad Krugman has become on this issue, given that in the past, he was one of the better advocates on behalf of a smart and liberalized trade policy. Now, he’s just another run-of-the-mill protectionist.
