1. Once again: Can we please stop taking Paul Krugman seriously?

2. I really don’t understand why all of this rigmarole is necessary. A simple Imperius Curse should be sufficient to ensure the implementation of the desired public policy.

3. Drezner needs a new intellectual obsession. I know that the need to sell a book makes for creative marketing, but still, one worries. We Drezner fans would like to have him remain amongst the living, after all.

4. I fearlessly predict that Brad DeLong won’t accept this wager. Again, it is worth remembering that while DeLong is more than willing to trash-talk, he’s neither capable, nor honest enough to engage in a straight up battle of ideas.

5. Shorter San Francisco: “We have no power to make Netflix change its practices, but we are perfectly willing to exercise power to make McDonald’s change its practices.”
