Taking On Sarah Palin

by Pejman Yousefzadeh on December 18, 2010

Jonathan Tobin does the honors. It’s refreshing to see that more conservatives are speaking out against a possible Palin-for-President candidacy, and pointing out–as Tobin does–her obvious flaws both as a potential candidate, and as a potential President.

For my part, in a contest between Sarah Palin and Charles Krauthammer, I’ll side with Krauthammer every time. At least he knows how to put a thought together.

Hey, new readers! Make sure you get this: Pej thinks Sarah Palin is an unpresidential numbskull, and just generally doesn’t like her. I mean, this post has to be for your benefit because all us regulars got this down a long time ago.

In addition, new readers, be sure to note that John has a habit of dictating to bloggers what they should and shouldn’t be putting on their blogs.

Defensive much? For my benefit. Yeah, right.

Next thing you’ll be telling us you’re not obsessed with Andy Sullivan either.

        • Pejman Yousefzadeh

Call it defensiveness if you want, but it was worth pointing out that your claims of obsession are not born out by the facts–something you didn’t even bother denying. As for Sullivan, I consider it important to push back on his absurdist rhetoric, and will do so when I please. It is, after all, my blog.
The next comment that complains about me writing what I want, when I want it, gets deleted.

Speech should be fought with speech, not authoritarianism. Good luck with your blog.

Authoritarianism? Hardly. Again: It’s my blog. I write what I want on it. Your lengthy objections to my choice of subjects is duly noted, but by now, you should have realized that when I am interested in reader surveys on what I should write about–or not write about–I will ask for them. Anyone and everyone is perfectly free to take me on regarding the ideas I express, but the whole “I am sick of you discussing this on your blog/you are obsessed” bit is really tiresome.
