I don’t know why there is any kind of controversy whatsoever over whom to support for the general election in the Senate race, if one is a Republican. Mike Castle is eminently electable. Christine O’Donnell is eminently not. Even if, as some fear, Castle doesn’t serve a full term, he will still give two years of aid to Republicans in the Senate. O’Donnell, of course, won’t even make it to Washington, given the amount of personal baggage that she has, and given the amount of negative controversy that she regularly generates for herself.
