On Delaware

by Pejman Yousefzadeh on September 15, 2010

The Democrats will win it, now that an inferior candidate has been chosen. Congratulations to the Delaware GOP, and to the Tea Party, for helping throw away a perfectly winnable race with both hands. And congratulations to Dan Riehl, and Mark Levin, for proving that dishonesty pays.

Incidentally, if Riehl is this much of a child when his candidate wins, imagine what he is like when his candidate loses. Coming soon in reply to this post: A suggestion on Riehl World View that I wear a dress. Some people just never grow up–and curiously enough, they write like children too.

And with this post I finally (and now fondly) bid adieu to the New Ledger.

Good luck, guys, you're going to need it going forward if you want anyone to continue reading this site.

Dude. Dude. Dude. You would come in our house to write this bearing the face of one of the greatest heroes of the Shining Force saga? Seriously?

Here's an idea: now that the primary is over, why not support the most classically liberal/conservative/libertarian candidate? I mean, sure, you could piss and moan about it, but why not help a Republican, even if you think s/he can't win? Is it your way or the highway? If voters don't choose the candidate you deem most likely to win, then fuck the voters and the candidate? Does that actually make sense to you?

I wrote a diary at Redstate, saying pretty much the same thing you did. It earned me bam-stick. That place has really gone to the dogs.

I'm sure we can find violins sufficiently tiny to commiserate with you.

I suggest two things: (1) go fuck yourself, and (2) please don't e-mail me. Ever.

    Yours truly,
