Slow Reading

I think that people like Nicholas Carr overstate the case when they tell us things like “the Internet is making us dumb.” To be sure, the Internet is rewiring our brains, but in some ways, that will be advantageous.

That having been written, I will certainly go on record and state that the advocates of the slow reading movement have a point.
