And he continues to use his status to push the Obama Administration to be more competent in addressing the problems that have resulted as a consequence of the oil spill. Heaven knows that the Administration needs the pushing.
In the aftermath of President Obama’s first address to Congress in 2009, Jindal’s political career was deemed to be at an end because his response to the President’s address fell flat. It is nice to see that there is some justice in the world; Jindal is now getting more approbation for his sterling response to the oil spill than he got opprobrium for the results of one speech. More justice: More people are beginning to see that while the President can certainly talk a good game in a set piece speech, he can’t seem to deliver when action is called for.
