Vapid, And Hollow

Credit where it is due: Elena Kagan’s famous description of Supreme Court confirmation hearings has proven to be entirely accurate. I mean, when you cause people to read Dana Milbank–who himself is usually vapid and hollow–and think “that guy has a point,” then concern naturally develops.

Maybe the confirmation hearings would be more interesting (not to mention more informative) if someone bothered to ask the questions Shannen Coffin has been asking.
