But if it is the case that this was an attempt to go after Viacom–and through it, South Park–then that would blow a hole in the theory that the censorship of the South Park episode featuring the prophet Mohammad in a bear suit would be enough to appease those who threaten violence in response to those depictions.

“An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping that it will eat him last,” as Winston Churchill said. Personally, I am not sure crocs are so indulgent.
