Whatever my differences with the practices of the Obama Administration, this is a nice touch, and a very welcome innovation . . . even if, as the article mentions, it is somewhat awkward to say “Next year in Jerusalem,” given the current chill in relations between the Obama Administration and the Israeli government. (Also, saying “Next year in the White House” would seem more than a bit inappropriate, but let’s forgive and forget.)
Let’s hope that it will be a little easier for the President to get some cookies this year.
