Paul Ryan Is Too Smart For Democrats

Three Democrats try to pile on against Rep. Ryan in a debate over health care reform. All three fail:

(Via Ed Morrissey.) Maybe next time, Democrats can make an effort to understand Ryan’s plan, or at the very least, not misrepresent it. But in any event, it’s clear that Paul Ryan has more neurons than do his Democratic interlocutors, and that those neurons simply fire faster. I like having smart people set policy, which is why I will take Ryan over Louise Slaughter, Xavier Becerra, and Sander Levin any day of the week.

It's abundantly clear that he's in a different weight class than these critics, not just in smarts but in his ability to communicate. A lesson the Democrats should have learned from his performance so far: if you hit Ryan without having a clear a grasp of the facts, you'll just embarrass yourself.
