And There Was Much Rejoicing

I have made no secret in the past about my admiration for Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels. He is very smart, a sharp political fighter, an authentic small-government Republican, knows where the bodies are buried in Washington, as a former Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Governor Daniels has done a sterling job in Indiana, and has all of the qualifications that one could ask for in an excellent President.

Which is why I am glad to read that Governor Daniels may be considering a Presidential run.

This is all very wonderful. Of course, it will be up to Governor Daniels to put together a crack staff, and to put forth a compelling message. He has to adopt an impressive speaking style as well, though after four years of the Obama Administration, the American people may pine for a President who is more steak, and less sizzle.
