The Misdiagnoses Of Ezra Klein

by Pejman Yousefzadeh on January 19, 2010

Discussed in hilariously devastating detail. My favorite bit:

Part of Klein’s contribution to Democrat demise is perpetuating the belief that all people cared about was the total cost of the bill, which he once again argues, is really not so big when you consider say, what it would cost to build the entire fleet of Starships for the Federation.

On a serious front, the post does a great job of pointing out the degree to which Ezra Klein’s writings on health care policy underestimate the cost of the plans he advocates for, not to mention the loss of individual autonomy the implementation of those plans would bring about.
