The Eternal Question

Why does Andrew Sullivan still have a job with the Atlantic?

At the very least, can’t we get him an editor?

(I won’t even bother addressing the various prejudices that Sullivan seeks to dredge up concerning his comment that “a great power like the US” is “being dictated to” by Israel. Suffice it to say that Sullivan knows what he is doing when he makes these kinds of comments. He has made it a practice to stoop to expectations.)

Because people keep linking and talking about him, ergo you're giving him traffic by simply pointing out his clownery.

As mentioned before, Sullivan's misstatements and prevarications need to be relentlessly challenged. He gets plenty of traffic on his own. Without criticism, he will get the roughly the same traffic, and his prevarications will go uncontested. That is unacceptable.
