Common Sense On The Trade Deficit

I’ll do a little self-promoting, and remind readers that I myself have been banging the same drum for quite a while myself, but I wish it weren’t necessary to repeat the basic points concerning the meaninglessness of the trade deficit metric so often. It’s long since past time for us to stop being so obsessed over this utterly silly measurement.
