How Do We Know That Creigh Deeds Will Lose In Virginia?

Because the White House is already trying to create distance between itself and the race.

It should not work, of course. The race in Virginia is, among other things, a referendum on what people think of the Obama Administration. A win would validate a lot of what the White House is doing, and a loss would make Team Obama look bad, to say the least. There is just no getting around that conclusion, the White House’s wishes to the contrary notwithstanding.
