On People Whose Writings One Does Not Need To Bother Reading

The good thing about the Internet is that it dramatically increases one’s reading list, by presenting a whole host of reading material one may find enjoyable, educational, and intellectually salubrious.

The bad thing about the Internet is that it dramatically increases one’s reading list by presenting a whole host of material one may find purely awful.

The trick, then, is to know how best to separate the wheat from the chaff. Thankfully, there are people around who are willing to help us do that, by pointing out that, say, Eric Boehlert and Bill Maher are not worth reading.
