Sure, the game was uneven, there were times the Bears gave their fans heartburn, the offense sputtered in certain moments, and while the defense did not break, it certainly bent a lot. But at the end of the day, the Bears beat the Super Bowl champs. Not a bad way to bounce back from last week’s tough loss against the Packers.
More good news: Alex Brown will be available next week against Seattle. Hopefully, we will see more synchronicity between Jay Cutler and his receivers, but they appear to be getting along pretty well. The Bears look like they may well be the Cardiac Kids this year, but that may still provide us with a lot of fun-to-watch football.
