Despite the government crackdown in Iran, and the attendant sense of despair among protesters in the country, Iranian demonstrators continue to protest against the regime and against its efforts to disenfranchise Iranians by stealing their votes.
Naturally, the regime has responded by blaming Britain for the unrest, arresting British embassy staff, and arresting protesters who were recuperating in hospital beds as a consequence of beatings suffered at the hands of the security forces.
And this from a regime that claims to be responsive to the needs of the Iranian people. When will this sorry lot leave power? It cannot be soon enough.
