I was going to write a comprehensive takedown of a recent Daily Dish missive, discussing at length how Andrew Sullivan’s over-reliance on the “teabagging” insult reveals a mind incapable of entertaining and engaging in a serious debate over ideas. I was also going to argue that Sullivan’s non sequitur concerning the future of the GOP supposedly being bleak simply because Scott Johnson may not have known what “teabagging” means, reveals a paucity of intellectual seriousness, and a tendency towards conclusory statements that invites ridicule.

But then, I read this. And I realized that someone has already summed up the likes of Andrew Sullivan better than I had planned to.

(Many thanks to RedState colleague and friend, the lovely and talented Academic Elephant, for the pointer.)
